id sold my zx6r so wanted something with a bit of poke but creature comforts as well
mluton, understand where youre coming from but my insurance says that i made the claim fair do's but i couldnt on my own policy i was 3rd party fire and theft and the other guy hasnt been in touch, itll be 12months tomorrow exactly since the day of the accident surely theres a cut off time, i even explained to his insurance and my insurance companies that there are cameras on that roundabout so they should be checked, i have absolutely nothing to hide
is it normal to lose 4 years no claims though?0 -

Also people do put in claims for whiplash injuries just to gain money. And yes there is legally a time limit when you can put in personal injury claims.
I suggest instead of worrying you write to the insurance company as I suggested in my pm.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Daft as it is, you called up to make a claim then cancelled. This is still classed as a claim in the insurance companies eyes as you have had a bump so more of a liability.
Insurance companies state that you have to inform them of any incident where a claim may arise.
They then automatically assume you or the third party will be making a claim and put a note on file to say such.
However if you bother to chase the insurance company in writing , you can (and I'm talking from my experience) get the insurance to disregard the incident as a claim if both party involved states clearly they are not making a claim as there was no significant damage leaving your NCB intact.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
