I wear glasses. Opticians usually have a ready supply of all those little screws. I would try asking in a few if they can fix your sunglasses (usually free, but I was charged £1 once).

specsavers fixed mine for free no probs

About 3 weeks ago i bought some sunglasses for holiday, the first time i took them out (on the train to the airport) i found that the little screw that held the pad that rests on your nose had fallen out, but luckily was in the case - so i screwed it back in. A week later it had fallen out again but this time it was lost and so they were

Send me a PM with your contact info and I'll send you a couple of screws.
  • To update the thread: I spoke to a girl at the head office customer service team, who was very nice, and understood my situation. She called the store and told them I should be given a refund. Apparently they store manager told her that because the fault was fixable they wouldnt take it back or something.

Anyway, i went back into the store and explained the situation to the girl at the checkout, who called over the store manager - the same one who i saw the first time! He didnt even look at me really, or apologise, and just said 'that fine, give a refund' and walked off. At least i got my money back, and a letter of apology from the customer service team.

Sound like the Brent Cross branch gets a lot of complaints - from the sounds of what the girl on the phone said.

Still very shoddy, dont think i will be going back there in a hurry.
