Faulty C905 - can I get an immediate replacement?

Options
Hi guys,

I upgraded my phone with O2 on the 3rd November - for the new SE C905... however, shortly afterwards it began developing a fault in which the camera shutter is over-sensitive and now the phone automatically goes on to camera mode constantly, by just the slight touch to it - even if I don't want to use the camera.

I have looked on the O2 website and noticed this page:
http://service.o2.co.uk/IQ/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=48,E=0000000002095371366,K=3741,Sxi=1,T=Main,Problem=19204,varset_BBDISP=Upgrades%20&%20orders,varset_lvl2prob=Upgrades%20&%20orders,question=ref(User):str(Mobile),cmd=new

Spoke to someone at O2, and they have told me to send the handset off and they'll either replace it or repair it within 7 days - but I can't really afford to not be without a phone, especially over the Christmas period.

I am JUST outside the 28 days of ordering the phone - but have only just PAID for it within the past 3 or 4 days with my most recent bill... so basically what I'm trying to find out is, is there any way I can just get an immediate replacement? Usually when something is faulty in a shop, you can return it and get a new one or your money back... so it's annoying that I'd have to wait up to 7 days for a new one/refurbished one...

Thanks guys,

- Joe

Looks like you will only be without it for up to seven days. Thats not over the Christmas period... is it?

Get out your backup phone for that short period.
