    Those that took a fixed rate 2 months ago will still have that rate. Those taking a fixed rate now have a lower rate.

    I must be getting paranoid, though perhaps that itself is a reflection of the fact that nowadays, public confidence in anything the financial sector says or does or promises has been so badly shaken.
