turning off at mains

Will I do any damage to my pc by turning off the mains power after shutting down correctly? ;)

I always turn off computer at mains when not in use - fire hazard drummed into me by DH. One point to consider though is that you must make sure that the battery in the mainboard is working otherwise it can cause problems when you turn the computer on again.
