GPRS data counter - can anyone help?
Hello
Just got a new contract phone. My dealer, themobileoutlet.co.uk, cheekily subscribed me to Orange World 3mgs per month with first months free trial without telling me (doesn't fill me with confidence for making my cashback claim, but anyway...)
I guess I'll use Orange World for the first month seeing as it's free. So I don't go over my 3mgs I guess I'll have to keep an eye on the GPRS data counter. But I don't know how to interpret it! Currently it says '233 949 B'.
Is 1 Meg equal to 100,000 Bytes? If so, does 233 949 B mean that I've used just over one quater of a meg?
(If so, it didn't take very long for me to do that, just 5mins looking around Orange World at their terms and conditions!)
Thanks all
Ian

oo, also, if I use WAP to access Orange World, is that just taken off my monthly minute allowance?
How would I go about accessing Orange World via WAP on a Nokia 3120?0
