BB, could he not cover the gluey walls with lining paper, then paint as per your instructions ;)

  • Hi everyone

I've been looking at rooms to rent today and was meant to go out for an afternoon of wine tasting and a big xmas meet up with friends but decided not to go to save money! It would have been a good £100 spend and I'm so determined to get debt free. It does sometimes feel like I'm becoming a boring !!!!!! though!

Still, i'll get to watch strictly and have the flat to myself!
    GC: Jan £118.67/£175

    Owed to Mum -
    £1,487/£6,400
    Overdraft -
    [STRIKE]£1,391[/STRIKE]
    Total -
    £2,878/£7,791

Oh I DO like this thread! I am miserable today - not really sure why - I had a problem with my drains and had to get a drain company out - cost me £70 - but I don't think it's the money! I felt like a useless pathetic female - I couldn't even tell him where the inspection manhole was - My ex very kindly burried it under some hardcore and some bark! As he is on bail for harassment I couldn't even phone him to ask where it was! Like he would tell me anyway!
So much for being a tough and independent single mum - just felt stupid and vulnverable!

Any way I digress - I like this thread cos when I was cooking dinner I opened a bottle of redwine to put some in the spaghetti sauce! I was tempted to pour a glass but resisted! I now feel like i have permission to - seeing as Spud you are on at least your second mulled wine!!!!!:p

I agree, let's go sort him out.

I think it's a B&Q thing. We can adore each other when we walk in that place, ready for divorce by the time we leave :rotfl:
