    Mornin all!

    We got our Christmas tree last night, a real 6 footer.
    We lugged it out to the car, stuck it on the roof and secured it to the handles inside (you know, the ones that sales reps and !!!!!! use to hang their suit jackets from) with ropes, wrapping them tightly round key points of the tree to ensure it didn't slide around.
    All went well until we attempted to open the car doors to get in and realised we'd roped them shut!

    It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
    We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
    Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    I do at the minute cos i am dosed up on the paracetamol, ibuprofen combination..... i look pretty rough though......I get a shock when I look in the mirror!:eek:

    I look awful too. Not washed my hair since Monday, not been dressed properly since Wednesday. Doing an impression of Waynetta Slob I think :eek: :o

    Went to Asda for 9 this morning, it was mayhem!!!

    Crimbo shopping almost done, just a few more bits to do!

    All we could do was laugh, my fingers were numb with cold by the time we'd finished!

    We're going to do some Christmas shopping today and some on Wed in York.

    I've just ordered all the dvds we need from HMV via Quidco as there's 9% cash back until midnight tomorrow night!
