I asked him if he would really like a PS3 instead, as he already has a PS2 and he said not - is the PS3 better?
Now I know I'm really going to get confused lol....

it all depends on what you want it for.mosaicwendy wrote: »I asked him if he would really like a PS3 instead, as he already has a PS2 and he said not - is the PS3 better?

im guessing that most of his friends have an xbox seeing as it came out earlier than the ps3
edit: also only the original hard to find 60gb ps3's play ps2 games as sony removed the backwards compatability from the recent ps3s0 -
yes I think they have - also, the X Box is cheaper :-)
Thank you for your help - I feel a bit clearer about it now. I think if I went for the Arcade version it wouldn't have enough memory. I just need to shop around a bit to see where I can get the best deal.
Thanks again, Wendy0 -

Also do you what kind of games your son would like, yes if your sone wants to play online against other people then theres 2 things you would need a 12 month subscription and a wireless adapter(only need 1 of these if the router is too far away to use an ethernet cable), any questions about the xbox LIVE service i can try and help best i can
this is the wireless adapter and it comes with a 12 month subscription for £67.53, you could expect to pay say £5-0 for the adapter and a minimum of £25 or a maximum of £40 for the 12 month subscription so its a good deal0 -

Is this a good deal do you think?

yes you could buy the wireless entertainment pack but id make sure the 2 games that come with it would be something your son would play0 -
Two days ago I bought a xbox 360 arcade from woolies which came with an entertainment pack which had a wireless controller and indiana jones game and Kung fu panda for £117. I used the voucher that gave you 10% off which has expired now but you could get a good deal if your lucky because they are selling everything with up to 50% today0
