Texting whilst roaming on O2 Simplicity

Do O2 still take 4 text messages from your allowance per text sent when roaming?

    Not when Ive been abroad? But not been on Simplicity before either! It used to be 12p a message or if you sent a picture message with it it still cost you 12p but you could send a much longer message!

    That correct, you get "free" text messages, it costs you 4 from your inclusive allowance. However, if you have an unlimited text bolt-on then they won't come out of this, once you finish your allowance and move onto the unlimited allowance, then you will start getting charged.

    If you mean like the bonus tariffs then yes you will be charged, you will be charged for MMS as well.
