Are all stores supposed to have a scanner? Where are they? There is a new Tesco Extra just opened in Bradford (about 2 weeks ago). I spotted a small R+R last night, Primula Cheese Spread with ham in tube, SEL about 58 scanned at more (sorry cannot remember what amount it was). I remembered looking on shelf wondering why the ham one was cheaper than the chives! did not bother R+R as tired and never done before, plus it was after 10pm.

Staff at this store seem to have been told to get away without giving R&R.(Unless they simply do not know of R&R.)

Both times I have been overcharged I have been offered the difference. Just pointed out the policy on the big sign behind them.

Latest was Shark Tale for GBA. Stickered at £12.94, charges at £14.94
There was still one on display today (Monday)

    Coventry:
Tesco Finest Pork Chops - SEL £5.99 per kg, some packs had yellow stickers showing reduction, others were priced @ £6.99 per kg.

R&R on 3 packs, SEL left in place - some packs left on shelf displaying old price.
some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it :)

    Milton Keynes Kingston this morning:
Tesco's own cereal : Cranberry Wheats (ie like small shredded wheats with cranberry filling) were £1.28 on shelf edge but scanned at £1.48.

Only the second time I've every noticed a misprice so went straight off to get the refund :) SEL brought back to customer service counter.

Frozen Summer Berry Fruits 500g (yellow and red cardboard sleeve over plastic tray). SEL 98p charged £1.00.

    R&R begrudgingly.

Tesco Value Chilli Beef Steak...SEL £5.99 kilo (reduced from £6.99) pack price £6.99

Thin Cut Sirloin Steaks(both British and Irish Beef) 1-2 packs and 4-6 packs SEL for both £11.87 a kilo, packs priced at £11.88 a kilo.

Assistant asked me to show her the offending SEL's, which she removed, but they could be in other stores.

Got full RnR on both.....£35 in total.......Although I was asked for name and address for refund.

British Fresh Lamb Chops 4/6 SEL £10.49 per kg Pack £10.99 per kg.
Bought two packs and claimed R&R of £11.95.
Girl in CS couldn't have been more begrudging if she tried. I didn't even get an apology!

These packs were alongside the New Zealand variety, but they were priced up correctly.

    HTH someone.

Yes I saw this today - but the SEL was £10.48 with packs marked at both £10.49 and £10.99.

Also the 2 packs had exactly the same mis-price.

Had a do at Tesco today.

    Got R&R :

    Coke 24 cans. SEL 6.75, scanned 6.95
Meduim Chicken legs. SEL 1.99 KG, pack price 2.50 per kg.

    The above R&R no problem.

Also picked up Lamb chops. Mixed together were british lamb chops at 10.99 per kg and New Zeland chops at 10.49 kg.

Only one SEL at 10.49 kg.

Why lamb is more expensive when its been flown across the world is another issue.

Anyway the SEL was brought back to the CS desk and a discussion ensued.

They tried to make out that they were different products as they had different barcodes. I simply explained that they were mixed together on the shelf and "How was I to know".

They then started talking about how it WAS a different a product and I was not overcharged.

I told them that I felt I was overcharged and if they felt different they needed to get the manager.

    R&R straight away. :T
