ahhhhh sorry, they were kids DVD's in the Disney section

Bought 2 Walt Disney DVDs yesterday from the Kid's 2 for £10, one of them (Gordy), scanned at £5.99 hence no multibuy.

Bought another 2 Disney DVDs from same section today, Escape to Witch Mountain and the Absent Minded Professor, one scanned at £4.96 and the other at £5.99, again no reduction so another R&R.

12 pack of skips x 2 - SEL 2 for £2.50, scan @1.68 each - in all ELEVEN stores in my area, 6 packs bought in each ;-)

sharwoods fine egg noodles , normal white SEL 62p, charged 99p in all stores

pesto/pasta sauces, tesco own, SEL 2 for £2.50, scan individually, no reduction in most stores

well worth the 4 hour trip :-)
Noodles and pesto scanned correctly (had to buy the pesto but wanted it anyway) but noticed in Pool (Cornwall) that the skips offer was also on the Hula Hoops and got 2 x £1.68 refunded. OK so it's not the same as getting 66 packs refunded but it brightened my morning!

Not sure if this is a new one. Was at CS today getting Hula Hoops refund and there were 2 Kodak disposable cameras with CS. The woman phoned up to the PID department (whatever that may be!!) and said they were scanning at a different price to the label. I couldn't tell you the number of exposures, but it is worth checking out. I didn't have chance to check myself.
    Nothing can compare
To when you roll the dice and swear your love's for me

Tesco Durham Sony DVD Home Theatre System DAV-DZ100, yellow SEL says price reduced to £179.97, however small print says offer ended yesterday, I didn't buy it, so still there if anyone can get to it.
There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
  • Hi there, I am new to this so sorry if I am in the wrong place.

I started reading this board at the beginning ogf the week an have so far accumulated umpteen packets of skips, and 3 dvd players (my kids think its christmas again!!)

    Tesco Brooklands, (weybridge) today:

technica dvd player still at wrong price
Braising steak (sel) 5.78 kg (pack) 6.18 kg
Rump steak (sel) 7.46 kg (pack) 7.98
Healthy eating chocolate mousse bogof not going thru

Looks like its steak, followed by chocolate mousse watching the dvd tonite. (couldnt find any wine tho!!)
  • As reported above, quite a few kids DVD's in the "£5.97 each" or "2 for £10" offer are way out.

Found the following ones, all stickered with the offer, but coming up at £9.97, £11.97 or even £12.97 (!) As a result, the offer never kicked in.

    SpiderMan - Ultimate Villain Showdown
    SpiderMan - Venom Saga
    Fantastic 4 - Legend Begins
    Incredible Hulk
    X-Men - Wolverine Story
Power Rangers - Vol 1 - Day of the Dino
Power Rangers - Vol 3 - White Thunder
Tractor Tom - A Job for Buzz

(NB : All apart from Power Rangers are ANIMATED versions)

So, 8 DVD's which should have only been £40 with the offer came to well over £80 - very naughty Mr T!

Full R+R and apologetic CS guy on electrical desk. Happy little 'uns :-)
    Always after a bargain... :-)
  • GBA Spyro Fusion stickered at £12.92, SEL £14.97, charged £14.97.

Whilst waiting for r+r another customer pointed out that her two large bottles of Babycham should be BOGOF, however the reduction hadn't come off at the till.
  • Got my first 2 R&Rs today, have been hunting for ages!! in Telford:

Fresh Lean Braising Steak, SEL £5.28/KG, pack price £6.18/KG, refunded £4.23.

PS2 Game, Stealth Force, sticker £9.97, scanned at £9.99.

    No fuss at CS desk.

    Overjoyed!
