Tesco misprices thread II - please only post misprices here

I've scored - and you will too.

First of all my Tesco Extra had 20% off chart DVD, CD and Games - this is deducted at the till - so when you Price Check the price shown should match the SEL - if it's higher then you've been overcharged.

DVD Millioniare Game - SEL of £14.84ish - Scans at £15.97!!

24 Series 4 - Stickered & SEL of £24.24 - but also found another SEL in the chart section away from the boxsets of £19.99.

It scans at £20.97!!

So even though the 20% discount takes the price lower than the SEL - you've still been overcharged with these items.

Very pleasant CS staff - a most rewarding R&R experience given the recent hassle I've had at some other Tesco Stores.

PS Found a Dyson - scanned at the SEL price of £199ish - still rather have Jack and Chris than do the hoovering.......

Okay - it goes......

Loads of 24 boxets including series 4 - all with correct SEL and Stickers - series 4 was £24.24.

Away from this, mixed with the chart DVDs was a copy of Series 4 - exactly the same as the others BUT with a SEL of £19.99.

Forget the 20% discount - it scans at £20.97 (before the discount).

So based on the £19.99 SEL you should be charged this less the 20% discount as opposed to £20.97 less the 20%...

Clear as mud??

Worth a look anyway if your store doesn't have the caffiene free 12's or the mispriced 24's.

Fresh Mackerel pack of 3 are back on stream tonight. SEL £3.48 per kg and pack says £5.98 kg and scans as per pack. CS refund no problem. Went out with idea of getting further Sonys but no luck now.

seinfield season 3 dvd - sticker 24.97 sel & paid 24.99 R & R was quickest ever!

All of the 24 dvds had sel of £19 - it think they are now £20 but the boxes didn't scan at the checker so you would have to try at the till.

Topside beef sel £2.96ish per lb, package label £3.06 (pack price charged)
C/svcs no probs at the end. Did try and refund the difference to begin with saying it was a genuine mistake I was overcharged. I said, 'Isn't that what your policy's for?' (protecting against mistakes). C/S said had to see manager, I said, no problem!Sought advice from a manager, returned moments later full r+r.

If its the one im thinking of, it scans at the lower price and has been around for a while.

Chicken drumsticks are in Barnsley, SEL 199/Kg PACK 249/Kg, Scans at higher. Noticed this misprice creeping into a couple of stores so might end up further afield.
