Major find last night at Coventry (Potters Green) Branch

Casio EX-Z50 5 MegaPixel Digial Camera - Yellow SEL offering it at £179.99, came up at £199.99.

Yellow SEL had exipired on the 10th !!

Guy on the Electronics counter was extremely unhappy when I refused the "kind" offer of a £20 voucher for the difference. Manager had to be called, when a full R+R was then given.

Oh, and got a "How Not To Decorate" hardback book today, from my local branch in Bletchley (£6.97 sticker / comes up at £9.97).

No PS2/XBOX games at all, or CD's/DVD's, but I guess a £200 camera makes up for that...

Halifax King Cross branch,2 legs of Fresh British Lamb, SEL £4.99 a kilo , pack price £5.99 a kilo, CS staff had big confab and tried to wriggle out but got full R+R for £ 26.72.

SEL removed but keep looking , 6 legs obtained for free in Halifax over the last month, some lovely person keeps refixing the removed SEL's !

Had a look at the Games and found the poster "Games Under £29.97 - Top 15 Games"

Spotted 3 x-Box (not 360) all priced at £32.97

so I had them and off I went.

The lady at CS must have thought I was mad because she saw the price on the SEL as £32.97 and wouldn't listen about the poster. She got the Manager.

A nice man but not on the right wavelength, he refused to admit their mistake and wouldn't do the business.
Now got to take it up with HO.

His claim was the poster didn't say they were all under£29.97, but in that case it was misleading and should have said all under £32.97

Not expecting too many problems with HO and looking forward to going back for my r&r

Despite having got the cherries R&R'd earlier this week, they were still mispriced today, so got two more boxes (Tesco Northampton). Also fresh healthy choice mini chicken fillets - there were two SELs - one for £2.38 and one for £2.97, pack price £2.97, scanned at £2.97. Refunded two packs, no arguments.

Topside beef joints ...SEL £5.98 per kilo...pack £6.48 per kilo. Nice £15.60 refund for 2 joints... and a very happy Mum and Dad having beef for sunday dinner!

In Tesco kingsway Dundee today saw whole ducks misprised per Kg. Cant remember the prices but SEL was about 15p less per Kg. I didnt get any myself so still there for anyone that wants it. :money: :money:

L'Oreal Infallible Foundation ... the new 16 hour one.
Found this today in a large Tesco extra. Large display stating £10.44 special offer £3 off so price £7.44 until 31st January. Scans at £10.99 then deducts £3 as a multibuy so actually charged £7.99.

Very nice cs girl gave me £10.99 refund even though I`d only actually paid £7.99!

Checked another 2 localish extra stores but they don`t sell L`oreal makeup so this is only going to be a limited offer but hope someone else can make use of it.

I bought 4 of a bogof item last week, but when I checked my receipt, they had been put through as 5. Went to CS expecting a refund on the 5th that I'd paid for but didn't have. However, I got a refund for all 5!!

Magnolia - One answer to why you asked for R&R on the L'Oreal product is... because you're worth it!!

The Xbox games poster does state that the top 15 games are UNDER £29.97,potentionally anyone wanting to buy the games for £29.97 is being over-charged imho,did spot the Live 8 at Wisbech store with 2 different prices,this could be a biggie because the new price was/ is going to be £32.something,Wisbech had this in 3 different places with the cheaper £28.47 being in 2 of them.
