Carphone Warehouse email address needed.

I've tried replying to emails Carphone Warehouse has sent me but they bounce back undelivered - anybody got an email address for them that works.

Hey,

This might work:

customersupport@cpwplc.com
Looking forward to the future.

Tried the address but the email bounced back - I can't seem to get in touch with them by email no matter what address I use, what a blinking company it is.

For anybody reading this I hope you are very wary of Carphone Warehouse. My purchase never arrived and when I got in touch with them they said they were out of stock and could not send a replacement item. They sent me an email (which cannot be replied to) and the email informed me that the item which I never received was now classed as RETURNED - I was informed by phone that my payment would be reimbursed by cheque but when the cheque did not show up in the post I got in touch again by phone and was informed that a voucher was being held for me for any further purchase from them. In the meantime I've already purchased an equivalent item elswhere and I don't intend using Carphone Warehouse anymore ... saying that, I am with TalkTalk which seems to come under the umbrella of Carphone Warehouse, along with AOL. What a blast eh.!!.

Carphonewarehouse are a nightmare. The only way to get them to act properly is to write a letter to their office in Acton and send it by recorded delivery. If you don't send it by recorded delivery then they will state they haven't received it. (Even some of their staff in their shops admit this.)

In any letter you write you have to start it with the title "Formal Complaint - Breach of xxxxx Act " where xxx is the consumer act or OFCOM regulation they have broken. Surprisingly then you will get some customer service.
I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)
• I work for carphone warehouse and would be happy to help. We do have an email address but this issue can be very easily resolved by calling our customer support team. If you do not have access to a telephone then please visit the carphonewarehouse.com website and follow the contact us links for email addresses and other useful contacts.

A refund for a failed/cancelled order is processed back onto the card that was used to place the order. A cheque refund can take upto 28 days to recieve. Whilst we understand it is not ideal to wait 28 days for a refund, this timescale is a maximum and in most instances the cheque is received sooner.
If for any reason the cheque is not recieved within the above timescales, then please contact our customer support team on 0870 0870 168 (non geographical number can be found on saynoto0870 ).

If this still fails, then please post back on this forum and I will personally endevour to resolve you query.

Regards
F.P
• Hi F.P.

I have been scouring the net for help regarding an issue with CPW ongoing since April 2008. Here is the latest letter I have written to CPW and Charles Dunstone. Still I have had no reply. I have tried customer services but it really depends on who picks up. If they've got some ethics behind their work, they will help. If they don't - they will normally just hang up. Either way - it get's 'resolved' each time and I am apologised to each time but then it all begins again. Have a look below to see what is happening and if you could help, I would be ever so grateful. Thank you!

"Please can I talk to someone regarding my contract. I am a customer of o2through the CarphoneWarehouse and have had billing and phone issues since April 2008. I have since been offered £100 as a goodwill gesture (you can appreciate how big the mess was for them to offer me that) and yet the problem still persists. They keep billing me the wrong amount each month, I have a faulty phone and each time I have the matter resolved (phone records to prove it), the same thing happens again and again.

I am seriously stressed by this and have had enough of them messing up my phone bill each month. I was advised by a CarphoneWarehouse branch manager to contact you directly to complain, because he felt his firm was not doing enough and could not believe how bad it was. I currently have a £493 credit on my account, because that is how much they had miscalculated by bill over the last 8 months. Even so - (you can check the phone conversation recordings) - I keep getting demands for payment.

I would really appreciate some form of communication from you because I don't know where to go about this with CarphoneWarehouse. I keep getting different answers, my phone barred and then reconnected and all sorts of demands - which are then issues by mistake and then withdrawn when they realise their error each time I speak to them.

I am trying to run a business and as Head of my department, I cannot be without a phone for too long. I need this matter resolved and as my service provider - I feel I need to come directly to you. I have been with Carphonewarehouse and o2 for almost 4 years now and this is not the kind of loyalty I expect. I look forward to hearing from you and really do hope that you can intervene to sort this mess out. Our company lawyers are really not happy with the service I am getting and I see no reason to take the ADR route, if this matter is not resolved once and for all. 8 months is too long to be treated like this.

Many thanks and I trust you will sort this out once and for all."

Could you possibly shed any light on what I can do now?

Thanks!
• They've just really annoyed me as well. I ordered something from their site and they sent the wrong thing. Now they expect me to either take it into a store (nearest one is 20 miles away) or pay to return it myself and await refund of the postage via cheque within 28 days (which I then have to take to my bank to pay in). They seem to miss the obvious point that they've already inconvenienced me by sending me the wrong item which I had ordered in preparation for a meeting this Friday.

I emailed dunstoc@cpwplc.com which is supposedly their CEO's email address. If I don't get a reply from that I'll put it through as a chargeback and order elsewhere...
• What difference someone who is interested makes. A few hours after the email to Charles Dunstone someone called me from his 'CEO team' with a resolution that worked. In addition I just received a reply from Charles himself apologising for the inconvenience.... good fella.

Shame the rest of his staff aren't as good, but hey ho.

Got an upgraded phone.

Got automatically signed up for insurance / gadget gubbins without asking me if I wanted it or agreed to use their insurance etc.

They took first payment for insurance - didn't realise what the payment was for til I researched a bit.

Contacted Carphone Warehouse last night.

Got an email and call this morning to confirm that it was in the process of being sorted and a refund being issued.

I realise it's good to rant about companies that do wrong by the consumer (and that they took my money in the first place without asking) but this swift response was excellent customer service and worthy of note.
