Due to problems on my new hardrive decided to format the hardrive and installed windows xp again but I cant set up my ntl internet broadband connection all I get is a message cant find network adapter.
My old hardrive has Windows Me which works fine with the same ntl set up so all cables and connections and modem are ok.
How can I get my new hardrive internet to work?
Could I transfer any information via floppy disc from old to new drive?
Tried to set both hardrives as Primary and slave but failed just get a blue screen.

Try..
Start, Set Program Acess and Defaults also available in Control Panel
then click on Windows Components and tick Networking Services then
next, It might not have installed from the new installation.0 -
Is your network adaptor integrated into your motherboard or is it a pci NIC? If it's the former did you install the chipset drivers after you reinstalled Windows?

After a fresh Windows install you will need to reinstall your chipset drivers for your PC to work correctly.
