Returning samsung Tocco to CPW?

Basically i got the Tocco from o2/cpw la st week delivered to my house and the phone is rubbish! The sound quality i s v poor and call s keep on disconnecting, as its been less than 28 days 02 said if i take it back in store they will change it. However this seems to be a common problem with all Tocco (having looked online) so was wondering if they would change it for another hand set?

    You'd have to cancel the contract and start another with a new handset after the cancellation had gone through.
  • Really??? But i thought the problem is with the phone (and its a standard problem), so they would just change to a different handset, especially if i kept taking it in..

    Well i took it in this morning and they just gave me a like for like exchange..and surprise surprise the problem persists. Im going to take this up with their customer service as they didnt advertise this was a problem with the Tocco otherwise i wudnt have bought it!

    when u were sold the fone they tell u if u change the fone you get another deal... having said that if u are a long time customer, they will probs offer u a good deal on another fone.

    ive just upgraded to said fone myself... not opened it yet tho.

    Well they said cos i had opened and used the minutes they couldnt exchange it, but how was i to spot the problem without having used it?? Al so bin with them 6/7yr s which i pointed out.

    Anyway having spoken to 3 different c s people, one finally said she will spk to her manager 2moro and ring me (we'll see!) and in addition i have sent email complaint and letter to the head office, stating i will be taking legal action etc. Hopefully they give me an alternative, i wud be happy with the LG prada/Omnia/Renoir etc and im pretty certain with abit of pestering i will get it.

    Gd luck with the phone, it s really nice looking, easy to use and good features, but the fact that the sound quality is crap, makes it useless!
