Three cancelation confirmation

Just a quick question to anyone who have recently cancelled a three contract.

Did you receive anything to prove that you had called and cancelled your contract such as an email or text ??

I would like to take what the call centre staff said as done ( and cancelled) but three being three ( :rolleyes: ) i want to make sure i have a leg to stand on should they say in a months time that they have no record of the call or cancellation.

On a side note when I called today with my cancellation request (18month contract but can cancel at the 6th month) they said "oh no this is an 18 month contract sorry" Once i said i had a saved my internet confirmation which stated 6 months ( and thankyou from MSE mobile forum for this advice!) they agreed to change the contract and cancell it at the 6th month.

But back to the top of this post - i have nothing to prove this.
