Nationwide still have some very good rates! -
http://nationwide.co.uk/savings/cash_isa/fixedrateisabonds/summary/summary-3-year-fixedrateisabond-annual.htm
3 Year Fixed Rate ISA Bond (Annual Interest)Interest rate 5%
Or 2 Year Fixed Rate ISA Bond (Annual Interest)Interest rate 4.5%
It is a very good rate and I would advise anyone who does not need instant access to their money to consider this?
I locked my ISA in for 2 years last April...

Can I transfer my ISA to Nationwide?
We are temporarily unable to accept transfers into Nationwide cash ISAs (including Fixed Rate ISA Bonds) from existing cash ISAs held with another ISA provider.
We have made the decision to stop accepting these transfers due to the unprecedented volumes that we have recently received which is preventing us from meeting the high levels of customer service that we aim to deliver.
We are still able to open any of our cash ISAs with new funds from this year's ISA allowance and/or by transferring funds from existing Nationwide or former Portman savings accounts.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to reassure you that we hope to reinstate the Transfer facility as soon as possible.

I have the same ISA with nationwide and was able to transfer my previous allowance...
You could call them in the morning to confirm?
I do not think these rates will be around for long, so if this suits you, I would sort it QUICK...0 -

Not what I was told on Wednesday, just said that no transfers were allowed, that was in a branch."When the Government borrows, the citizen has to save".
Machiavellii0 -
No transfers in since July! Of course they are allowed to do this (due their proven incompetence making it necessary) but how typically Nationwide to claim that the problem has taken them four months still to not solve (i.e. to be in a position where all the previous transfers-in had been serviced)?
So 5% for 3 years 'good' but not available to non-Nationwide customers.........under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam0
