M and S Isa query

Hi
I applied to transfer money into a fixed rate ISA with M and S back on
14th Nov and had letter from them on 20th saying they'd written to my provider to get it transferred. I saw that my money went out of that providers account on 1st Dec
I have just seen that M and S' fixed rate ISA dropped down to 2.75% !! on 27th Nov. Does anyone know what rate they will put me on? Would my account start when they receive the cash or when they received my application and requested the money? If it's 2.75% it's really pointless me having transferred it

Suggest that you contact them to check, especially given today's 1% BoE rate drop - Savings & Investments 0808 005 5555.0

OK, panic over, I've just called them and they will honour the 5%.
though now of course having seen the rates have fallen again today I wish I'd fixed for longer- but never mind!!
