  • Morning.

I woke up to a wonderful winter wonderland (ooo... alliteration) which meant that I had to walk a mile down the hill to get the bus... slipping and sliding all the way down :D

    My list:
    • Today was going to be a NSD, but the weather ruined it. I've had to get two buses into work which cost me £3.70 (different bus companies... GRRR) and because it was icy, I didn't want to have to be carrying bags so I've not brought any dinner in. So it'll be a sandwich from the canteen and an emergency cuppa soup.
    • Checked bank accounts when I finally got into work (two hours after setting off).
    • Checked for surveys, none yet.
    • Working (not too hard, my boss has put the radio on :))
    • Storecupboard something or other for tea.
    • Snuggle up with OH and watch Dark Knight tonight I think. Definitely not going out once I'm home.
    • Find thermal socks... I think they've possibly migrated to one of your lots houses so if you could send them back, I'd appreciate it should I have to walk to the bus stop tomorrow :rotfl:
It's an enforced casual day today because I wasn't ripping my work trousers to shreds if I fell... I look banging in the office with my jeans and snow boots on :D

Have a good day everyone... and wish me luck getting home!
  • I woke to a covering of snow, took little one out for a play in it immediately because it had already started raining. Now we have slush.
Then we went to his swimming group, re paid for so get moneys worth if I go every week.
I am cooking lunch with left overs.
I am checking out some money owed to me by making a phone call
I need to do laundry (have a sock infestation of humongous amounts, bordering on SORT OUT NOW)
  • Lol, i just make 750 posts and now have my 3rd medal. Does that officially mean I am an addict of this site? (I have missed it last few days I havent been able to get online much)
  • hi

set up a couple of extra online accounts to move money around for things like annual car costs and my pad challenge. that way can just pay monthly.

    • Today was going to be a NSD, but the weather ruined it...
Oh dear... Marks and Spencers 20% off (plus extra 20% and free delivery plus 5% Quidco) ruined it as well. I've got a £45 dress for work's black tie do for £25 delivered which isn't bad I suppose... needed to buy one anyway!

Just hope it fits now. Ordered a size smaller than normal as M&S things usually bury me (I'll have to dig out the magic pants if not!)
