Love this idea, have lots of hot choc and unopened marshmellows left. the pound shops often have big bags of mini wrapped eggs in, so will keep an eye open.

I haven't got any marshmallows left but have recently ordered a bag from Lakeland and they come in different pastel colours - great for Easter!

    These...

Popped into Tesco today for a few bits and they are already getting Easter chocolate in - they had hundreds of bags of mini eggs and those bunnies in gold foil with bells round their necks.

Those marshmallows would look great in a cone with milkshake. The banana and strawberry flavour, would be lovely and colourful, proberbly wouldn't need to add anything extra either!

    Hi

I have just found the link to this thread from the Xmas crafting one and thought I would have a nosey over.

I too have been thinking about adapting the snowman soup for Easter somehow and remembered these cones, which were readily available in the Dollar stores whilst I was living in Canada:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=230316870487&Category=26394&_trksid=p3907.m29&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26its%3DI%26otn%3D1

This seller doesn't seem to ship internationally but I am sure there are loads of online retailers that stock them and would ship here.

Also, I was thinking about wrapping my inner cone and marshmallows etc in orange crepe or tissue paper and then putting it all into one of these bags, so that it actually looks like a carrot:

I know I always used to buy the kids little Lindt carrot chocolates for easter (about 2 inches tall, sold in boxes of 5) and these would be perfect for attaching to the cone, but again I don't know if they are stocked here or not. This is my first year back here for quite a while and I so miss the availability of gorgeous, cheap seasonal and craft goodies (amongst many other things!!!!)

if you scroll down it does say that buyers outside of the USA need to wait for an invoice b4 paying.

Well spotted Amy. I am tempted now, but just so annoyed at myself that I didn't fill packing cases full of this stuff when I moved back. I could have made a fortune selling it to you all;) ! I just didn't realise it was so hard to get hold of good crafting things here for a reasonable price. Why are we so ripped off in this country? I will take orders when I start planning my next trip back!!!
  • the little jewel bunny is gorgeous i wouldnt mind receiving one of those either;) also like the jelly bean chicks
