I am so glad there is an easter thread up and running !! I did loads for christmas and havent done anything since due to time constraints but Ive been asked about Easter treats! What have you ladies got in mind for this year? Ive seen the bunnies earlier in the thread but couldnt see any instructions?! I mean the bunnies that are laid down not the ones that are reindeer's in disguise! Any ideas for getting started on the Easter treats gratefully received!!0

Hi all, first time posting on this thread and i love the knitted little chicks where you can place the eggs in. Can someone please tell me how this is made? I know how to basic knit and i mean basic! Like how to knit a very long scarf! I don't know how to make anything else apart from a long piece of knitted cloth! LOL! But i would LOVE to make these chicks for my kids and nephews and niece for Easter. You can call it my goal to make something useful from knitting! So... can someone show me how this is done? I'm i a lost cause? Is this way to hard for me and i am better off buying it made off Ebay?
I really don't know where to begin. I found some patterns online but i don't understand the knitting terms... K2,P2 across??? I was never taught this. Just to knit and keep going!! Do i need to know the terms before i can make these? If so, can anyone point me to where i can learn? Or is there a very simple picture way of learning to make these chicks??
These are the ones i mean - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-HAND-KNITTED-EASTER-CHICKS-CREME-EGGS-/400191852292?pt=UK_Crafts_Knitting_Crochet_EH&hash=item5d2d4b0f04#ht_500wt_1156
