Thanks Emmamumof2. I was up until 2am last night researching knitting and 'how to read knitting patterns'! So i think i've just the gist of reading. I am trying to learn to decrease and increase now! But that is something i have to see happening, might have a look on YouTube. I wish there was someone nearby to teach me! I know there is a knitting thread on the OS forum so i think i better go off there! Sorry to go off topic! Thanks anyways. :)

Well i've done it! I've made my first creme egg cosy! Took me a few days to learn to read the kitting terms but i am pleased i stuck at it. Hope it looks ok! Going to place a few of these in a cello bag with some yellow raffia ribbon tied on top and some natural raffia under the chick. Now i've done this one i am going to try and knit some others in different colours. Can't believe i am being so organised this year! :)
  • Wow Ami! That looks great, can't believe it's your first one. Unfortunately I was not blessed with the knitting gene :-( I'm going to stick to flannels I think ;-)
