Hi sethsgran I did look but no luck I'm afraid, I did find a pattern at micheals but it wasn't felted, not as cute as the one at fiber trends and probably not small enough either. Do you have a felted slipper pattern already, you could just add knitted ears to it and embroider a face.
    Sorry I'm not any help.

Thanks she grinch there are a couple there that I like. I am also thinking about using a little felted slipper pattern then knitting a bit to fasten on for the head then 2 for ears. Will have to see if I can find a simple pattern with a cuff

There's a thread for 'free knitting patterns' over on the freebie board if it hasn't been mentioned before.
Looks like links to a lot of sites.

  • I've has an idea of Easter Cones - similar to the snowman soups but instead of filled with hot chocolate and marshmallows, mini wrapped chocolate bars such as twix and kit kat.

You can buy the multipacks fairly cheap and could fill a fair few celephane cones!

Not worked out how much each one could be sold for yet to cover costs and make a few pence...i'm going to make them this weekend and work it out and will post a photo of them.

Your feedback would be helpful as to your opinion if they will sell or not.

    Thanks

These are a really simple but effective idea which would be great for children to give to their friends or teachers or possibly work colleagues or just to family members

An easter tree is easy to make and is great fun for the kids to help with.

I did this several years ago when I had to do a craft talk at a local group and I decorated some polystyrene eggs to decorate it with.

I started by using a craft knife on the eggs and ran it down from top to bottom of the egg, without putting it right into the centre. Then I cut out some templates from diffeferent coloured material and squeezed the material down into the slots that I'd done with the knife - I used four different pieces for each egg. Then to cover the slats I tied some ribbon round the edge and this was what I used to hang it on the branches.

I also did some hard boiled eggs and painted them with different coloured food colouring - very nice they were too!

    Hope this helps

Ooh another thing I done was little nests.

Got myself some nice little wicker baskets, put some moss on the bottom, or you could use some shredded tissue paper, and then put some little chickens and mini eggs on the bottom.

They looked really cute for presents.

This is a great example of why stampin up is sooooo addictive. I have a friend that is a demonstrator and, as much as I try to not buy, she does such great demos on her demo nights that I usually end up spending money that I can't afford. I can generally manage to rationalise it that I end up saving in other areas, eg made party bags for both ds & dd parties from next-to-nothing A4 envelopes & loads of family's Xmas cards which I normally spend a quid each on (and got loads of lovely compliments on my hm efforts too).

A warning ... it is very addictive so avoid if you can!!!
