Best camera phone for < £150

Hi guys!

I'm rather bored of the D900i now and have decided the time has come for a new phone. The main priority for me has to be the camera and i'm rather stuck bewtween the K650i and the LG viewty.

I'd really welcome any advice.
Merry Christmas MSE!

Neither!! N95-1 all the way. Have a look on ebay you'd be able to pick up a second hand one in good nick for under £120

Ive seen the N95 8gb go for around £150, much better still...

May be worth waiting until after Christmas for the presents no longer reuired or doubled up?! ;)

Much prefer the n95-1 to n95-8gb

8gb version has no camera lens which means its much easier for the lens to get scratched. Original has a lens cover.

Also, N95-8GB is exactly that....Just 8GB. There's no room for external storage. My nokia N95-1 has 16GB storage. Plenty more than i'd ever need.

Obviously there are plus sides to the N95-8GB. The colour for one. Looks lovely in black.

    K800i, no contest.

If you can find them in stock (they are too expensive for SE to keep making at such low prices so have been phased out) they are usually around £60 - £80.

I had an N95 and the quality of the photo's was not quite as good as the K800i, and the battery life on them is lame. I bought another K800i and got rid of my N95 for this reason. And I am still happily using it.

Having said that, no camera phone competes with a proper digital camera, I have a Fuji S6500 so that's top notch, but the missus has a £50 Fuji and me mum has a 5 year old Kodak, and both outperform any mobile phones currently available in the UK.
  • I'd say K810i or N95 8Gb.

The camera on my K810i was awesome and they go for around £40 second hand now.

I've had a K800i for a year now & it's the best camera phone I've ever owned! Looking for a phone to match it at the mo as it's a little too cumbersome for my tiny 'action man' hands!:o Can't find anything for the right price that comes anywhere near as close, even the ones advertised as being the upgrade to the K800i!
  • I've got a C902 now, and still reckon the camera on my K810i pips it. The C902 jsut looks soooo nice! :)
