02 sim card 300 free texts

I have got one of those for nearly three yras on my mob. I have read you can now choose to have a mixture of 300 free txts or 100 mins anytime any network. I phoned 2425 on my mob and changed my tariff to 100 mins anytime any network. I do get free texts like before when I top up with £10 but I do not seem to get the free calls. I am just wondering whether it has to do with my sim card and it's the new one I need to get the 100 mins. Please can anybody help. Thanks.

hi try to email them with the problem ,I did it last week when I didnt get my free mins,but this was my first top up,but they did reply within a day and got my mins within 24 hours

I've ordered a phone for my son on PAYG from an O2 retail outlet today, and the salesman mentioned this offer.

He said that you had to top up on the same day each month (£10) to get the free text messages, but didn't have any T&C's to take away and read.

I'm no expert on mobiles (I've a company mobile phone with a 'reasonable' number of free personal calls allowed), so can someone point me to some online T&C's for this offer. If there aren't any, please could someone itemise the key features/benefits/drawbacks.

the top up anniversary is when the free texts are credited again. So if you did your original top up on the 7th of the month, the following month it would also be the 7th. You don't HAVE to top up again on that day. But if you don't then you will start eating into the credit on the phone until it's all used up. Then when you top up again (on say the 11th of the second month) your free texts ar added again and the 11th becomes the anniversary date.

It just sounded too good to be true (especially as the salesman had no T&C's he could refer me to), but I can't find a 'catch' so we'll go ahead with it.

Yes i can confirm its true the £10 gives you if you text only. 400 texts a month.300 free + 100 you pay for.
