You should be able to get a GWP when paying with points. I've never had a problem. It sounds like you just had a mean SA. Some of them make their own rules up. I think Dotchas had a problem a while ago with getting a No7 GWP when paying with points. She called CS and they said she should've got the GWP. It might be worth giving them a call.
What's up with dotcom? everytime I click on 'my basket' I get some crazy generic error message popping up:mad: it's driving me nuts. It has to be the worst shopping website in the country. Come on Mr B, get your act together and sort it out - you are losing sales!!

On Topic: On .com you can get the revlon gwp per revlon item, just change the quantity in your basket.;)
Also, for the 1000 points on premium beauty, don't just rely on the list of products brought up on .com, eg clinique lip balms @ £7.83 are included and loads more, it's just a matter of looking through each brand and seeing what products have the '1000 extra points' bit underneath them!!
Off topic: Just found out that I've got a 2:1 for my law degree (go me!!). I'm soooo happy, it took 6 years part time :eek: but now I have lots of free hours for bootsing!!!0 -

ive got an xmas present spare that i no longer need, can i do an exchange but purchase new items with money off,
ie i have a make-up pallette that was £10 can i swap for ;
a mabelline mascara £5 - £2 blue
shampoo £5 - £2 blue and
max factor mascara £8 with £2 off
the total would be £12 after discount, so will pay £2, is this possible ???
thanks
mishka
If the makeup pallette is a Christmas giftset and unopened, you should be able to swap it no problems, and use coupons on the items you trade for. If the SA tells you "no" to any of that, stop the transaction and take it to another store to try, because most SAs will allow that with no problem.
If the makeup isn't a giftset but is just regular stock, you may have problems even if it's sealed. I'd still try, and would try more than one store if the first says no, but just realize you might not get to swap it.0 -
If you buy 2 prof haircare items with the 2 blueys at £2 off on each, does anyone know if you still get the 200 points for spending over a fiver, or if the vouchers taking it below £5 stops you getting the points
Also, as anyone got the 10% of order through paypal? If so, does the code get enteretd on paypal or boots. If its paypal, i can use another code on the boots website too.0 -

I agree with Skibster, i've had no problems returning xmas cosmetic sets in the past. I'm just wondering though if it could be an issue that you are returning an item from the xmas mix and match range, and wanting to exchange it for something outside of that offer IYSWIM. Sorry if i've read it wrong and thats not the case.
On another note I succumbed and ordered the OOTW:o . I'm not usually a big fan of No7 but was quite impressed by the quality of the sets, and the colours are perfect for everyday use. I ordered at the weekend with the bonus points offer to make myself feel better about the whole thing:D Now i just have to talk myself out of the FCUK OOTW :eek::starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0
