I took my courage in both hands and took two JK brushes sets back to exchange for something else...three OOTW no 7 sets and three GWP! I was happy to pay the difference but I didn't faff about with points vouchers or anything, was just glad I was able to exchange without any fuss! happy happy!

I saw this in store the other day :) It's not the one posted above :)

It's got 2 or 3 large tubes in it (shower gel, scrub and something else) and yes, a shower/bath scrunchie thing. It was £15.00, so £10.00 with the voucher, but personally I didn't think it was even worth that, it seemed a bit over-priced to me :o

I will take your word for it and not bother to hunt it down then! Thankyou :)

Can anyone tell me what the cheapest things are that you can spend the other part of the £2 off voucher for Maybelline/ Bourjous please.

:j Up for grabs:j ALL GONE NOW - Sorry!!

    :rudolf: Stocking Fillers?? :rudolf:

I have three spare sets of the S&G Eye Shade and "Please Service Me" Door Hanger - from Steamy Showers sets I'm breaking up to put into various hampers.

Please ask only if you haven't had one already - I'll pop them in the post by the cheapest method. Hopefully tomorrow if I'm at work.

PMs please - with your name/address as the 240 second rule means it will take all night to sort out!

Hi, everyone, I was thinking of buying the Girard perfumes, that have been reduced to half price. Does anyone know if the 1500 points for buying 3 sets will work in store, or is it only on line?

Also, having just looked at my xmas gift stash, I think I have gone overboard on ladies presents and need some more for the men, ( don't want to leave them out/ or put up with xmas day sulking! ) I have the following items I would like to exchange 2 x £8 xmas gifts and 1 x£6, which I got on the 3 4 2 offer. So a total of £14. Will boots exchange these for me, not sure if I still have the receipt, so that I can get some mens stuff? If I choose more expensive gifts, will I just be able to pay the difference? Thanks. :)
I bought some gifts online on 342 , decided that I didn't want one of them ( well TBH I got it miles cheaper somewhere else) it was the cheapest item in my 342 (£13) and the gift I wanted to exhange it for was £15 ( the other 2 gifts were £15 and £16 ) so I took all 3 back got a refund for all 3 then repurchased the 2 I wanted to keep and the other new item with no problems, but I am blessed with some fabby SA's in my local ( 2 inparticular:D ) I did have my invoice with me though, I am sure though if my goods had cost more doing it this way you could have just repurchased at the new total.

what do these perfumes smell like?
    This is just my opinion

Girard Provence Spring ~ very light floral fragrance (fresh and summery)

Girard Bali Sunrise ~ light fruity fragrance ( fresh and summery )

Girard New York Nights ~ heavier fruity fragrance ( wintery/evening)

Girard Bouqet D'Orient ~ heavy powdery fragrance (old fashioned)

Girard Lysval ~ heavy powdery fragrance (old fashioned)
(Nominated in The Independent's 'Ten Best Perfumes')

The bottom two are copies of the original Girard fragrances from the 1920's

    Thanks ameliamummy.

When I saw these in store I couldn't help but notice how some bottles looked familiar. I think theGirard Provence Spring looks a lot like the Beyond Paradise bottle by estee lauder. Not sure of the scent.

    The notes look different...

    Beyond Paradise:
    Fragrance Type: Prismatic Floral

Top Notes: Eden's Mist, Blue Hyacinth, Orange Flower Templar, Jabuticaba Fruit
Middle Notes: Laelia Orchid, Crepe Jasmin, Mahonia Japonica, Pink Honeysuckle
Base Notes: Natal Plum Blossoms, Ambrette Seed, Zebrano Wood, Golden Melaleuca Bark

Girard Provence Spring opens with top notes of Lemon and Ylang Ylang, supported by a floral heart that combines both White and Pink Roses with Jasmine, underscored with a delicious hint of Clove. The fragrance unfolds, revealing a rich warm base of Sandalwood and Vetiver as well as Buchu Essence, Musk and Vanilla.

    Just a thought, anyway.
