This has probably been mentioned before but the £70 No7 gift box which is half price, also accepts 3 for 2 and the gift.

  • Evening all :)

Wasn't really planning on Bootsing for me yesterday (Mr BTVB and I went Christmas shopping in Cambridge) but somehow found myself at the No7 counter purchasing...

    1 Metallic eyeliner in purple
    1 Metallic eyeliner in turquoise
    1 Twinkle nail varnish
    1 Ladies GWP

Ummm, doing this from memory as am right giddy cow today for some reason :D

With VAT reduction it was something like £19.80...handed over 150pts No7 Christmas + 250pts on No7...got some normal points too, so ended up with something like 476pts for that spend...Going to give the nail varnish to my sis-in-law for one of her Christmas presents, the GWP is on eBay :o but the eyeliners are all mine :rotfl: (Re the GWP - I've got full sized versions already of all but the eyeshadow and mascara, so it might as well go to someone who really wants it)

Mr BTVB did some Christmas shopping too but I'm not supposed to know about that ;) Something about earning £17 worth of points though, so I think he's a happy bunny :D
DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :T

I have seen the NEW OLAY GWP, how much do you have to spend to get it? I saw some posh looking OLAY DEFINITY CREAM in a posh looking box that was on REDUCED at the DEWSBURY store. It was on the top shelf where they had all the creams. If someone bought one of these, would they get a GWP for free?

Hi Mimi:) On dotcom it says the GWP is free with selected Olay definity products. Not sure which one you've seen reduced, but it's worth a try. Just pout if the till beeps;)

    Hey all :)

Had a good shop today, spent some of my birthday money :D

Got the OOTW, some JK wipes, some other bits n bobs, spent £51 but used my double points coupon, 350 wys £35, 450 wys £50, plus got JK points n bonus points n normal points...in total got 3152 points back :)

But, stupid me forgot to pick up No7 GWP, doh!!

great shop mrsbluebear. I'm trying to put a list together with extra points in mind. It's taking me ages, as I usually work out my lists with a little help from dotcom, but it is so hard to find items with extra points:mad: we need to find a new glitch asap in revenge for Mr B making it hard for us to gain extra points;)

Go back to the store with your receipt for the GWP. I am sure the SA will let you have the GWP. I'm loving the eyeliner in the ladies GWP. The contents are great but a big thumbs down to the bag. I have got a few and they are all battered:(

My MIL ordered a replacement card well over a month ago, long story she had £30.xx on card thought she'd lost it so got new one which had £8.xx on it (I think) anycase after speaking to CS they said they would cancel both her old card (lost) and new one & add both lots of points to another new one. When logging into to .com it's still only showing the £8.xx one so does this mean it's not even been sorted yet & would require another call to CS?

I assume her NEW card has a different number? If so, it needs to be changed online. You have to do this yourself. Clearing all cookies might also be a good idea first. Just remove the old card number and then go back and add the new one.

If she has already done this - has she used the new card yet? It may be that the website has not got the updated information. It can only do this when the card is used instore. That is because the information is stored on the chip of the card.

Try using the ATM, or making a small puchase and see what the points total is on the receipt. If its right, this will update on .com shortly after. If not, then contact CS.
  • i have 3 gift sets to return to store as the people as i have changed my mind. whats is the best way to return them to store, with reciept of
not? will i loose the points i got as would rather exchange for something else.

She hasn't got the new card yet, she's been waiting well over a month - we went away for the last week in October & it was BEFORE this that we contacted CS about the card so it's been about 5-6 weeks so far. How long does it usually take for new cards to come?

Hi, I went to boots today, ACM didn't have the 250points for £35 spending, replaced by the 1000 points weekend.

I saw the P&P body serum which is half price down to: £12.50(11.96), picked one up with the GWP to the nice SA, she checked for me and it works, so got one serum within my £50 purchase, as I was too happy about this then forgot to use my 250 No 7 voucher , however, had 2224 for the £50 spending .

After paying the cash, we had a little chat about what a good value it is, then I decided to get a few more serum with GWP, and paid with my points for 1196 each.

HTH, as we may all got enough Suncare staff now :D . It is nice to change to the body serum until something else come along.

Thanks v much for this -- helped me today to have a good Boots shop. Got two EA Red Door perfumes reduced to £20 each. Mum & I first had discussion about whether to buy now or not (she has an unused one already but it will never go to waste etc etc) and SA must have heard and clinched it by offering EA black bag gwp for £40 spend instead of £43 :T . So also got a half price P&P body serum plus No 7 gwp which took spend to just over £51. SA went to check w No7 SA before scanning gwp, went twice because first time answer was no but I said friend had got the gwp with it and then No7 SA relented  . Just as well no queue on EA counter! Used 450 pts voucher wys £50, plus 1000 points total spend offer, so v pleased. Offered the 250 pts coupon which came with my last gwp and I think she scanned the wrong side because it didn't work -- she said it was because the body serum was reduced already :naughty: . Has anyone used it on the reduced serum? If so, do peeps think it worth my while to take it back and re-buy it, using the correct side of the voucher, or is that chancing my luck too much? Would appreciate advice, pretty please.

btw 1: have never had probs returning unused cosmetics when saying they bring me out in a rash but always had to swop for items of equal value or more. btw2: all this talk of nits has made my scalp itch!! :o
