    I have another holiday day today :j

    So today I will:
    • Watch Jeremy Kyle and feel smug a superior (I don't get to do that normally!:rotfl: )(that is, watch Jeremy Kyle and feel smug and superior!)
    • Write another letter to Barclaycard about fees (surprisingly they haven't answered!)
    • Make some mince pies (fun and so much cheaper than buying them!)
    • Store cupboard dinner.
    • Meet BF in town to do weekly food shop, don't need much this week so may need to spend less that £20!
    • Look in Dorothy Perkins- they have 20%off sale, and I have a £10 voucher so I may be able to get a new top for Xmas party saturday for next to nothing!

    Sat in fleecy PJ's, socks and dressing gown here. I'm not feeling cold enough yet to put the heating on.

    Don't intend going out apart from to post xmas cards so money saved there as stamps already bought.

    Added just over 30p to sealed pot curtesey of my lovely OH.

    Doing some website work (merging 2 forums) in order to have people in one place and then integrate the classifieds with the forums and hopefully get more people to post adverts and give me some money for it.

    Hello everyone

    * NSD for me today apart from £6 weekly bus pass - hopefully anyway, can't think of anything I'd need to buy.
    * Salad and soup from fridge for lunch, use up veggies in stew for tea. Might go home from work early to make some bread to go with it to help with the NSD.
    * Present for brother arrived from Ebay finally, although is broken due to bad wrapping - have already opened a not-received claim through Paypal as seller wasn't replying to emails so might just wait until he replies to that (if he does) before complaining.
    * Transferred 50p from current to savings account for PaD challenge. £115.50 in there now, hoping to get that to £200 by April so that when the interest comes in I can make a bulk payment to my loan.
    * Emailed Ebay buyer re her problems with Paypal, agreed that she can send me a cheque.

    Think that's everything - have a good day all!

    Sorry for my absence. Got a cold (although everyone keeps telling me I have flu) I'm off work today but have my orchestra concert tonight... Blowing a bass trombone while I have tinnitus, it hurts when I breathe and I'm sore all over. Could be interesting...

    I didn't want to come on and just complain to everyone.

    You poor old thing, I've been asking where you've been, was worried, sounds like your trombone is going to bubble....

    Hope you feel better soon

    I gave in and bought a coffee this morning on the way in to work (£1.20) which helped defrost my fingers somewhat on the walk in;
    Will be transferring £20 across from my ISA to buy a bottle of whisky for my Papa's birthday;
    Putting a bit of petrol in the car for the weekend trip back home (but will buy at 89.9p from the supermarket rather than the local garage).

    Crap mood today - had a visitor in the office last night who used to work here and spent most of the time bragging about her $1million home meanwhile some of us are facing toast and beans again tonight for dinner.

    Hand in hand with Fay here. Her words are very wise, take heed of them. You are by far the lovelier person and if you haven't already attained it, you are well on your way to long term happiness.

    Hurrah for bathgatebuyer and Fay

    And beans on toast are yummy
