Not sure where to post this tip but if you are pregnant, have a baby or young children - please check this out.

Baby products such as baby wipes, shampoo, lotions, soap, nappybag etc were half priced in my Sainsburys in Hessle today. Both own brand and the branded stuff such as Johnsons.

I bought a large Johnsons baby powder for 73p and a pack of Sainsburys brand nappy sacks for 14p. Unfortunately nappies weren't included in the offer.
I think that its possible that these 50% reductions will be throughout Sainsburys stores in the UK as the prices reduction was shown on the barcoded shelf tabs.

Must be a strange market strategy as in the last few months I was able to buy pots of branded cake decorations (sugar strands, silver balls, jelly diamonds) from Sainsburys for 12p a pot - this great offer was not advertised anywhere but the products were available at the special price for many weeks. Sadly offer now finished and pots are back up to the regular price of 89p per pot.

Hope this message helps some moneysaving mums out there!

Steer, the cake bits were because Supercook has been bought out by Dr Oetker (sp)(him of the pizzas) and they have been re-branded, they were reduced in many of the supermarkets,
I will have a look at the toiletries in Sainsbugs tomorrow....Thanks.

    Hello all

Hope the chat with manager goes ok snags and sammy I am sure your exams went well - I have never known anyone revise as much as you!

I have had a shocker of a day.

Marked some work and gave it to my boss who basically said it was wrong, which I did understand but the whole system is !!!! frankly it doesn't work and it really sucks for these kids who work flaming hard but get nothing for it.

what is the point? hours that marking took.

I also have the joy of my monthly visitor arriving TWO freaking weeks early and cannot shake the feelling that I am going cry.

and I have hours and hours of work tomorrow. and then more marking which I should be doing now but feel it is all pointless.

sorry to just turn up and rant.

need to go swear a lot some where. but can't be bothered to move.
