I am on a bit of a downer. Got my second exam today and as yesterdays didn't go quite as well as I expected I am really stressing. I have been up since 3.30 pacing the floor!

I really am an idiot. four exams in one go is a lot and i feel i should have given myself a break and only done two. Then I might have passed two, which I am hoping i will do at least this time, but I might not have been quite so stressed about it.

Sorry for rambling....off to get ready now!

Sammy - Good luck with today's exam.

Loads of the white stuff on the ground this morning, which has settled on TOP of the ice from Monday night which didn't manage to clear. I don't like snow on top of ice - it makes driving a real pain!!!

Back at work today so hopefully might get online at various intervals...

Hope everyone has a good day

A light covering of snow today and its bloomin freezing............has anyone seen the forcast for tomorrow though?? Very heavy snow forcast in Scotland and Northern England. Kids are hoping for a snow day off school as we are rural and may not be able to get up the lane as it is very steep.

Had a blazing row with OH before he went to work this morning, both of us being unreasonable to be honest but feel really upset about it:o

Sammy I hope everything goes well for you today Hun xx

Those who need to drive in the icy conditions today please take care xx

Pingu, sorry you are feeling ill, hope you feel better soon xx

Have the area manager in work today and I am going to get such a roasting from her because on wednesday I left my keys in the shop and couldn't get a hold of the other keyholder (cos she had left her phone in the shop) so on thursday the shop couldn't open... I have apologised and worked so hard on saturday pulling in sales of like 30% higher than usual, i cant go back and change things and I am so stressed it's not funny! Just kinda want to get it over with asap :(
  • It's my birthday today - the big 3 0! :D I've taken my first day off work in almost a year and going to be spending the day with my mom! :j

Sammy, good luck for your exam today! I wrote my final high school exam on my 18th birthday, was totally unprepared and too excited to think let alone write a 4 hour accounting exam BUT I passed with flying colours! I'm sending you huge vibes for luck!

Pingu, sorry you have an earache! Try keep it warm (use a water bottle if you need to!) and take a liquid pain killer - they work quicker!

Off to get dressed now.. ooooohhhhh it's freezing!

Grrrr my keyboard is broken,it keeps missing letters!

    Morning all.

Would like to say I'm glad to be back but I don't like to tell lies:p The only thing I've missed about work is being online for a daily chat...

Hope everyone is well (sorry about the earache Pingu - I get them changing from cold to warm and its horrendous pain) and not stressing too much (Sammy you'll do fab at the exams - you've worked hard enough!) and looking forward to a nice relaxing festive month:D

Gahhh please will someone cheer me up, I am having the day from hell.

To get to work on time I have to leave at 8.20am to get Ryan to breakfast club for 8.30am, so I can get Natasha to nursery for 9.15am across the other side of town and me to work for 9.30am.

But for the last few weeks, I just haven't been able to get Ryan to get ready in time to get to breakfast club.....he just refuses and ends up having a huge meltdown if I try to rush him or get cross (he has aspergers syndrome for anyone that doesn't know).

This morning I just haven't been able to get him to go to school at all - and to top it off, while I was rushing to de-ice the car in case I COULD get him to get ready, my windscreen wipers got stuck on the ice, one of them stopped and the other one impaled itself on it and ripped it apart. Stupid bloody citroen windscreen wiper design.

Ryan is calming down now and I might be able to get him to school soon (although he is complaining of a sore throat and to be fair, his glands ARE swollen), but I have had to ring work AGAIN and tell them I can't come in.

Work have been fine about it, but I feel such an idiot that I'm letting them down again. I had time off when me and Stu split up, came home early on Saturday because I was in agony with a water infection, had loads of time off when I was pregnant, and seem to have had various occasions over the last few years when I have been off for a few weeks at a time with various things, usually stress/depression related.

I just keep thinking that they're not going to put up with me messing them about much longer.....but I feel like it's all a bit out of my control, and I'm trying SO hard, but I still keep letting them down.

Sorry for moaning, got a splitting headache and just feeling generally crappy today.

I put up the Christmas decorations on Sunday - the tree, the lights, the ornaments. Found the tinsel yesterday but decided that the tree looked ok without the tinsel. Normally tree decorating is a serious business undertaken with the aid of of a nice bottle of Chardonnay but this year I had to decorate stoney cold sober and it wasn't as much fun as I 'remember' from previous years:confused:

I finally succumbed and ordered Wayne a Wii for christmas - silly boy thinks he's getting a playstation 3 so at least he'll be surprised this year!. Told our families that next year they'll not be getting anything as we'll need Wayne's salary to pay the mortgage - they'll be lucky to get a blinking card next year!!!

Snaggles don't know what to say but I wish I was able to give you a hug - will a cyber one do instead :grouphug:?
