Awww thanks to those of you who have posted lovely things, I'm going to have a word with my manager tomorrow and tell her how I'm feeling. My car windscreen wipers are well and truly knackered - the little 'mishap' tonight has buckled one of the arms so it needs completely replacing. Eeek, hope it's not too expensive!

Not today. I am off to the cinema tonight with the BF, unless he has to work extra...certainly hope not.

I have spent the day being completely pretentious by attempting to write some comedy sketches.

Don't be daft you're not pretentious, and you might end up as a famous writer. You have a way with words and nobody calls Ricky Gervais pretentious.;)

Very kind of you to say so, thanks. It's just that I was thinking about a few things yesterday and that I really ought to see what I can get down on paper, rather than just saying that one day I will see what I can do.

Awww I feel bad cos I never replied earlier Snags, but I was thinking of you... Its awful when the kids are little..

My Milly is not autistic BUT she takes a bloody long time to get ready in a morning and I am now resigned to her being late every day! I got round that one by starting at 9.30am every day so I no longer get stressed. The school can whistle - its the way she is....

As for the time off work, I have met you and I think I am quite a good judge of character. You don't seem the kind to take the michael so I am sure that you are well thought of at work. Its one of those things. Time will pass and instead of the kids being ill they will have bunked off school or be in trouble for abusing a teacher.
