Hey JordanShannon
So sorry to hear you're feeling blue, thinking of you. I don't know your situation but I lost my dad nearly 5 years ago and it's always worse around special occasions - my mum re-married a year later and I still find it very difficult (I'm 37, haven't lived at home for 20 years, been with my hubby for 15 years, but it still gets me sometimes!). It's never silly to feel down it happens to all of us. Big hugs. xx
Hi goochie,
My dad is still alive but he walked out and caused us so much hurt with everything he has done and is still doing to us, it's like he is trying to hurt us.
Thank you everyone for the kind messages and sympathy. Think some people got the wrong end of the stick... My fault, didn't explain properly:eek: sorry everyone! I'm very bitter atm. But i had a better day todayyay i completed my pledge too, i've smiled and brought myself a nice top :rotfl: bless me.
Anyways thanks again to everyone for being so lovely and genuinely concerned i will remember it and hope to be able to repay you all in some way.
Lots of love and hugs:o
..xxI am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A0 -
Im now completing the pledge I had for the weekend whoop

and plan for 2009s presents properly
Im resisting opening my birthday present that i got today though its killing meLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
PML....you are so lucky meeting Corey...omg im so jealous! We saw 'Stone Sour' play at Manchester Apollo and they were fantastic! Corey is such a great front man, amazing voice,so charismatic and really knows how to work the audience! My ex whos a musician was chating to me , and i said about 'Stone Sour' and he hadnt heard of them. But when i mentioned the song 'Through the glass' he said...hmmm that rings a bell! And took a piece of paper out of his pocket with 'Through the glass' written on it...he had only been chatting to the guy who wrote it...lol. I was impressed but not enough to stay with him, although he was gorgeous and was always being asked are you Russell Brand ? and sometimes are you Lawrence Llewelyn- Bowen? ....:rotfl:0

My pledge today is to get the house looking like a show home. I was doing quite well the OC grand plan but it kind of started concentrating on other things, but last week was finish up week and next week is maintenance so I feel like I have to do a whole tidy clean blitz again, mind you all the decluttering I have done over past few months makes things a lot easier and quicker. Kitchen/diner, bedroom, living room, hall and bathroom all to be show home esqued before hubbie gets home today and then I'll really be able to relax.0

Oooh - computer wasn't working yesterday and I have had withdrawal symptoms! Think I have caught up with you now.
Had a lovely Christmas meal with the girls last night - 18 of us in total. As I live about 4 miles out of the village I have to drive and I only went and got stopped by the police and breathalysed!!!!! Apparently my brake light wasn't working and that's why they stopped me! Fortunately I had not had anything to drink. They then checked my tyres and told me one was illegal! But they were very nice and told me as it was Christmas he was not going to fine me £60 and put three points on my licence. So off to get a new tyre ASAP.
Off to the panto with Rainbows today :j - really looking forward to it.
House looks like a bombsite!! Will try and get on top of things next week.
Have a great day everyone.
Love
Gill
