I need a list again of what I need to do and I need to write in my work diary what I'm doing at home as I nearly booked something work related for next Wednesday (usually my day off!) but I have already got my Christmas haircut booked for that day plus I'm helping at presents for parents at school that lunchtime!! What am I doing!!!????

Good grief! I was all confused but I think I know what's going on now!! :j

Definitely want to be money-neutral in 2009 and thought I was the only one thinking of next year already!! Don't feel so daft now!

In the New Year I am going to be trawling through all the threads and taking notes of all you clever ladies fantastic ideas for making wonderful gifts. I think 2009 is going to be a lot leaner than this year and belts will have to be tightened even further.

Anyone else got snow? We are very rural and our little single track road has been a bit tricky the last couple of days. There's meant to be more snow on the way tonight so I am preparing to be stuck in the house tomorrow. Hooray!!

    Take care everyone. Stay warm!

    Love

Welcome (back) shevs & sugarspun, mary43, sophiesmum, sugaJen, Tigger 888

Hello and welcome to crazy chatter, shaz, sylphraven, padingtondoo, glitterycloud, LouBob,

For all those who are unsure about which cashback sites to use. There are different ‘best’ ones for different companies. You can check who will pay you the most ££ or highest % on Martin’s cashback checker :
My personal fave is Quidco as they are very efficient and usually the highest payers. They don’t have Boots on there, so I used topcashback for that and cashbackrewards used to have amazon but no longer thave it so have to use Nectar. Worth having a few cashback accounts so you can get best deals

PLM – SO sorry about your blog they are funny about links in sig’s aren’t they :(
SO pleased you are still winning. I have exciting stuff to show you later.....
Furrypig – Sadly pigsback have gone down the pan in my opinion, points aren’t as forthcoming as they once were L there have been a few ‘write 10 reviews, get a £10 amazon voucher” type things. I also am a loyal Bootser. Mr B basically pays you to take his things, and gives you lots of points to spend in his store. Think we will have to work on best survey sites etc in the coming few months, I will try and put a list together! Thanks for doing Avon

Chocolate.Orange – Pigsback are RUBBISH!!! L Really gone down the pan! I would recommend Quidco as the best then I use cashbackrewards and topcashback as they have some that Quidco don’t have. Very rarely have a prob with Quidco tracking!

Scattymam – you indeed were the hopper (along with mum2one) who made me nose on the O.C thread! I always felt guilty for making you post everything twice lol! Which are the best survey sites would you suggest to newbies?

Hello SugarSpun - my money neutral old-timer :D So glad you did well this year -well done!!

Watch out roads because Inked Kitten is about !! – Well done for passing your test, freedom starts here J

Wow you are all proper chatterboxes!! how lovely :)

Well had a busy day again today but managed to sneak into a craft shop and buy some 6x6 xmas papers :D they were £3.99 and got them to the till and they were reduced to £2.92... MSE through and through :D I will post a pic shortly!

OK...so how proud of me all the 'organised' people will be.........I FINALLY paid for the hotel room. Actually the woman who owned the hotel sent me a v snotty e-mail (every time i rang to pay, i couldnt get through) saying she assumed I didn't want the room (err..no?? just that I couldnt get through to your hotel!!) then read a bad review of it on trip advisor, and asked the reviwer on there where she had stayed and she reccomended a diff place for me...so just rang them up, got through, they were lovely and for an extra £16 for the 2 nights we now have a king size bed, and the luxury suite and heating and hot water (which the reviewer of the original place seemed to say wasnt included in the price of the first hotel!!) - not very MSE but hey..it'll be the only break we get next year if we exchange contracts on the house!!! :D:D:D can't wait now!!! This was number 2 on my original 'organised list'.... so feel superb that I've finally done it!!

Now...off to order my laptop for my xmas present HURRAH! :D:D:D

Wow. Took me a bit to find us all here. It's been a bit of a busy 24 hours with book sales, sorting online stuff, and finding paperwork in the mess that is our hallway - slowly moving stuff back in to the dining room now that there's a proper ceilling there. lol

Thanks for all the congrats - we're really excited and nervous about the pregnancy, but hoping for the best. At least we know we can save our Amazon vouchers and save up enough to pay for a cotbed by this summer, so it will be free. YAY!

Now I have a million things to do over the next few days - then I can get back to my Christmas stuff over the weekend!

Want to buy me a laptop too?? :D

I have got two really sick kids here right now. Last night I was awoken by a really strange noise. I thought hubby was still awake so I shouted "what was that" and nearly gave him a heart attack. We eventually discovered it was my daughter coughing. She sounds like a seal.

I spend a good few hours on here every day making sure I reply to everyone and everything but right now my kids really need me. I hope you understand if I go quiet for a few days.

I am enjoying and totally into Christmas 08 so will not even think of 09 yet. I like to give myself completely to christmas when it comes. My contribution to the thread is organisation and bargains. If you ever need to find something cheap, or a code i'm your girl.

I will be letting you know all of my bargains and where sales are in the new year. I too am a Bootser so between me and Jammy you should be swimming in toiletries ;)

Well done Inked Kitten that is AMAZING news!!

I have snow here and a snow storm forecast tonight YIPPEE!!!

Sarah, i said everything totally tongue in cheek honest. I was mortified you would think you was not special xx
