Morning Ladies
My pledge to do the same assignment Ive been pledging to do all week - but we have more progress today - Ive had a large amount of coffeewhoops
Bring on the txt spk languagecoz i iz hip innit
I pledge to make a nice homemade money saving meal tonight instead of going the chippy
So two pledges one to be done by 6ish one to be done by 10.30 gives me 12 hours lolLove is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0 -
Well, haven't posted since page 2 of this thread and previous organisedness seems to be flooding away so can I scrap that and join the slummy mummy thread instead? Wearing pjs all day sounds great! Children wont mind but boss may have something to say though...
Think I need to start doing pledges to get back on track (more incentive if I've gone public) although wont be able to pm results as STILL camping at in laws and FIL wont switch wireless on as he's heard that other people would be able to use it (grrrr, I work in IT, I can set up the security for him, but I'm a girl therefore if it's electrical I shouldn't go near it - unless it's in the kitchen:mad: ). Oops, sounding like an ungrateful *^%$£ again, must stop - season of goodwill and all that.
Anyway, my pledge for today is: write my full remainder of 2008 to do list and cross one thing off it (big vague I know but priorities may change when I've done the list!)
On a brighter note, went to DS first nativity play yesterday and I was so proud of him (I cried). I'd sweated blood over his costume (King carrying gold) and he appeared with part of it on backwards and the padding from his crown all over the place. However, he joined in all the songs properly and was so gentle putting his gift in the crib. Sorry need to go and pull myself together again...
On that more cheerful note, I'm off to find a VERY large piece of paper.

I'm deffo a slummy mummy today - am wrapped in blanket feeling sorry for myself - decided I just couldn't face work so although have done my pledge I should really be on the naughty list.
DDs school have both an xmas play and a carol concert which always has me in tears as it's in the village chapel this year and the reception kids can only just about see over the pews to sing away in a manger. DD is old enough to do a reading now so will be cringing when I can hear her over everyone else in the singing - bless her.
Is there a BOGOF on pledges? If I do 2 today can I have Sunday off pleeezzzzzz. After i've driven back from my mothers and surveyed the mess that OH will have made in the intervening time (why don't men see crumbs in the kitchen or make the bed ) I'll have lost the will to live

Sarah, is this money saving at work? So many layers of glue/varnish on the pinata that the kids can't get the treats out?0 -
Not just mine then, I feel better now:rotfl:
Nope I have my housework divided into 3 lists:
Things they won't do under any circs - crumbs, changing toilet rolls etc
Things they will do if asked - washing, dusting, ironing, tidying
Things they have been conditioned into doing - using laundry basket, putting homework away, finding things.
I always have to do list one - ask for help sometimes on list two - anything on list three doesn't affect me so not my problemOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
