    Money neutral challenge:

    Didn't keep a spreadsheet -but I have been able to work out a little bit - next year I will keep a better record jammy...so here goes:
    All birthday presents, mothers day and fathers day 2008 = approx:£300 =money neutral all bought using vouchers got through surveys or money made on ebay or items that I made.
    so 100% neutral there.

    Christmas 2008 presents for family and friends =
    Cost approx £361.50 but this is the best it should have cost approx £580.00 but I got bargains, etc;
    so the £361.50 was all covered again by survey vouchers, ebay money and one car boot fair.

    Christmas 2008 presents for husband and daughter approx: £440.00 had to pay out cold hard cash

    so approx 45%(I think -crap at percentages) money neutral for christmas if you add it all together.

    Already starting on next years total - getting a lot of surveys lately from toluna, IPSOS and lightspeed panel so I would recommend them. Need to do quidco next year especially if I get moved - just keep forgetting about it - think I will stick a post it to computer saying quidco so I see it all the time.

    My best buy was at a car boot that was a shot glass game (a good one though not a £1 shop thing) that was brand new had a £6 price tag on it that I got for 50p - giving to my friends husband.

    So:T :T :T to me a whole lot of money saved:money: :money: :money: and next year I want to be 100% neutral for everything - will post where I'm at so far with vouchers etc; in the new year - getting excited already - how sad am I?

    sorry - forgot to add in an effort to cheer me up my hubby gave me an early present - he let me open it cos it was 'nigella christmas' the book so I technically would need it before christmas to make use of it this year - I just like the big glossy pages and pictures - he thinks I'm going to cook from it - ha ha.
