  • Hi - been trying to catch up on what you have all been up to and realised I didnt give a pledge yesterday - my pledge would have been making my daughters angel outfit for her play - which I have finally finished tonight.:o

Anyway, my pledge for tomorrow is to pack ready for my weekend away - going to Center Parcs with some friends - booked to see Santa, go to the panto and generally walking around feeling very festive.

My main pledge for 2009 will be to understand what Quidco is and does - you seem to have so much fun - and shopping is my middle name.

Thanks for all the entertaining messages - I loved the PJs discussion - I regularly go out in my dressing gown to get things from the car my kids hate me for it - which is why I do it even more!:rotfl:

Not quite xmasy or money neutral, but anyone with children growing so quickly out of uniforms, there 50% off in the Woolworths sale, I got 3 skirts, pr trs, and 3 dresses all for £12.00

Couldnt resist brought my mother a bratz purple phone in shape pair of lips, reduced down to £4.00. Go her side of the bed, as when we had rewireing done, they dont fit phone sockets on internal walls, so her phone, pink and fluffy ended up on dads side of bed!

Survived (that sounds awful but it was true), was dd xmas service, all the school involved and they had it at local church, the nativity scence didnt exist, the nursery children were dressed in net curtains and tinsel, they looked sweet, dd and her class were on stage as part of the singers......it was farcial, they had some women going on about the bloke who celebrates xmas every day, from mince pies, roast dinners and reruns queens speach, (hes done that for 14 yrs - theres hope for us!), she rattled off the amount of dinners, brussel spouts, etc, then on about easter, by this stage I wanted the loo, but didnt want to get up and disturb as people were already walking out, we then had 30 mins on christ and easter, Im not against religion, but it felt like we were in a church service, then she wanted everyone on their knees for prayers........if I'd of got down they'd of needed fire station to lift me up. Im dreading nxt yrs!!
    |End of wing.

My pledge for 2mor - track down missing presents, and get them ready for wrapping, so should be on the good list!

    hi everyone!

Feeling much better today and have been v busy and didn't even have time to post on here until now!! Anyway my main pledge was to send the last of my christmas cards and that's done! For tomorrow I need to wrap 4 presents and 1 birthday present, organise mil and fil's fairtrade hamper and start the packing for our weekend away!

I can't believe all you quidco gals have filled a line before I even got to look at the card!!! You didn't even miss me! Well done you! I will def try and do some on the next one tho will be out all day tom as well!

i was out today having Christmas haircut, then quick visit to Woolies to buy DD the dress I said i wouldn't be buying her!! It was 20% cheaper than when she asked for it so that was good. Then I went into school to help with 'presents for parents' then i went to Sainsburys then I went home and had 20 mins befroe I had to pick up DD and her 2 girlie friends who were all coming back to mine for tea and to get glammed up for the school disco! Then it was back to school then home for dinner then back to school to pick up DD, DS and DS's friend then home to get them into bed and to start wading through all the christmas stuff that is spread throughout the house trying to put the presents to be wrapped up together!!

It's all going a bit mad here!!

i think it's due to me having been ill for the last 4 days so I lost all that time as I felt so awful and now the house is all unorganised and the tumble drier has broken again (and Ds wet the bed twice last night!!)

Oh well never mind it can only get better!

    Must try harder
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together

pinkladymel - for your informataion (FYI;)) I was on the NICE list last night. I did my pledge proper good...unlike some :rotfl: I'm firmly on the naughty list tonight. My only defence is the present im supposed to be wrapping is missing in action! :D

Name and shame is the aim of this game :rotfl:

Chocolate.orange - you need a firm pledge and a firm "yes I've done it" (although we dont need the details about riding the elf:eek:) before you get 'listed' ;)

Phunkles - hmm..did you know if you get a (day 5), then you really get no presents from santa....he told me.:A I know you wont get a day 5 as your essay has to be done by friday and Im sure you'll nail it tomorrow :)

mum2one - concert sounds awful :( bet you were proud of your little one though so it was worth it right? :)

Furrypig - glad you are slightly on the mend :) we just went nutz on the card! sadly interflora is getting my rather large goat at the moment. I'm kicking Quidco's @ss as much as possible about it, and if they don't respond tomorrow, I'm sending in the heavies to sort it out.....(chocolate.orange :)) Sounds like you have had an action packed day!! :) Edit: Furry pig - sorry for making you look like a "Pink Dog" (PinkLadyMel, 2008) looky here

wonder how scattymam's DD's first play went?? Was she an angel or a donkey?!

Chrimbo Bingo Gals - my artistic license knows no boundaries......I should have put a disclaimer in with it. Choccy, your roundness in the image is no reflection on your clothes size nor did I intend to imply you were a pudding, furrypig - I did not intend for you to end up looking like a dog on acid with elephantitis in the front trotter nor a beak for a snout :( my hand slipped, Pinkladymel, your hair is not meant to be disjointed nor resemble medusa, by omitting a t-shirt I was not implying that you were a flasher, nor am I fully sure what the pink dots are that radiate from your skirt. If all the above were true I would be a big red pie filled blob :D (c)Jamtart6
