The above may not be the bargain they seem I orderd and received the TomTom one ver2. It arrived boxed shrink wrapped never been opened. i used it then registered online using tomtom home from tom tom website.
They do not qualify for the free map update! Tomtom want a total of £39.90 to update to lates map or full 12 months quarterly map update.
So for the purchase price then the map upgrade you actually pay more than buying a New tometom one ver 4 off internet. So hardly the bargain advertised. The map with mine is 6 quarters out of date!
Wish I gone with ebuyer! navigo or navman with 2009 map update guarantee.
or onl of the refurbished Garmins from another site.0 -
For anyone that needs more maps than just UK or Western Europe, consider those factory refurbished TomToms that come with Western Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand maps on Australian eBay at
http://shop.ebay.com.au/merchant/szwedol
I bought one for AUD$217 plus AUD$25 delivery to an Australian address (AUD$50 shipping to the UK) and am very pleased. It cost me £94.50 for a good as new 2Gb TomTom One including all of those maps. Much cheaper than buying additional maps for my existing TomTom Europe.0 -

I found this on the Tomtom website which suggests you get up to date maps
All refurbished TomTom devices also come with the latest map free of charge. We will provide you with a voucher so you can download your free map – simply enter the code printed on your voucher when you connect your device to TomTom HOME.0 -
The postcode is never as accurate as the address. I think most satnavs accept the address for a more accurate location, TomToms certainly do, but always best to check the device you're looking at before you buy.Are some of these more accurate than others.
We live in a small village. Typing in my postcode would get you to the village but possibly 1 mile away from my house. Can you use house numbers as well?0 -

When I originally made the post, it did say 1-2 months. They obviously have had more stock in since.0 -
Hi All
I'm looking for the cheapest sat nav with bluetooth technology that will allow handfree mobile link up in my car. The cheapest I found was the Garmin Nuvi 310, for about £80-90, and also the Navman S50 for around the same price.
Has anyone come across any cheaper models?
Thanks0 -
The Navigo from Ebuyer is reduced to £49.98 now.John_P_Richardson wrote: »Navigo 3.5" Sat Nav V2 - UK Maps, Full Postcode Search - ALSO plays MP3 & MP4
On Ebuyer.com for £55. Link
You can also download the OS you want from www.thepctailor.com
Including TomTom v7.0 -
Hiya Boyd2715,
I am also looking to purchase a garmin with bluetooth, where did you see the 310 for £80-£90?0 -
Hi,
2 deals to take advantage of.
Additions Direct have a code (on the discount board) for £30 off as well as 8% quidco. There are loads of Sat Navs for £99 or less (including Tom Tom 1) so just get a new account and you are away! You can pay by Debit/Credit card and use the code so you do not have to sign up for an account. I used the code last night for something else.
Asda also have the Binatone X350 for £48.89. You can get it online or in store. Also with Quidco. I picked mine up instore for DH pressie for Xmas, it has decent reviews on Amazon so I figured I'd go with that.0 -
I would really appreciate some advice.
I am looking at buying sat nav for DH for Christmas, I don't want to spend loads because I've already bought him his presents and this was just something he mentioned the other day. What is the cheapest, but decent sat navs around? It would be good if it had maps for the US as we are going there next year but it's not essential.
