08450264331 Stop Calling Me!!

Hi....I have been getting numerous calls throughout the day from the number above and googled it, it came up with phones 4 u. I have a few months left on my 18th month contract and they have sent about 5 texts saying sign up to some great offers bla bla.... just wondering if anyone else has been getting these calls???

If so what are they offering? Have to say I have always been warned against them, so won't be dealing with them again.

Miss Giggles!

  • Have had 6 calls today ranging from 8.30am - 7pm!!!

What is this number ringing about, any ideas? Think phones for you are trying to flog me a contract!
  • Are you on Tmobile? They called me 15 times on an 0845 number, every time I answered it went dead until yesterday evening. They were trying to flog me Tmoble broadband! Not had any calls since but today I started getting text messages asking me for feedback regarding the call. I'm going to mention this when I call for an upgrade at the end of the month
  • If you're not with tmobile is your contract about to run out? If so it could be a company trying to muscle in on getting an upgrade before your supplier
  • My contract is due to run out in the next 2 months. I am with orange. Meh! It's rubbish, it's so annoying when I am at work I hear my phone vibrate constantly! Enough to put you off going with phones for you!

It might not be Phones 4 U. There are companies out there who know when mobile numbers were activated, and they can work out when your contract is up. They will ring up and pretend to sell you an upgrade, but they sell you a new contract to get the commission from the phone co.
Be very careful if you actually speak to them...!

Some phones have a block facility, such as samsung u600.
If possible add the number to your block list and all the calls will be diverted straight to voicemail.
The most important thing to do is not become involved in a conversation. Usually I hang up immediately and now hardly receive calls from these companies.
You do not want to be viewed as an easy target - otherwise your details could be passed onto other companies...
