I paid by visa debit for an order of £37 - am I covered?

I am really sorry for all the trouble that posters have been having but not surprised. In March we ordered a duvet from them. Despite them taking the money immediately and saying it was next day delivery it took three weeks to arrive. This was one of the best travelled duvets in history having been sent(according to the very disinterested customer service reps) The Isle of Wight; Nottingham; Rugby; Runcorn and then back to the Isle of Wight(despite thee being no evidence of this on the parcel)
They never answered emails and were rude and unhelpful on the phone.

Oh yes and the duvet(when it eventually arrived)is [EMAIL="!!!!....if"]!!!!....if[/EMAIL] its a 15tog I am an aardvark......

I believe so - there is a very useful link in one of the other threads relating to Visa Debit chargebacks.

In Early 2007, World of Linens was an Ebay ID used by the trader to commit fraud. I'm not saying that this is the same guy it could be a total coincidence, but your stories seem very familiar to my own experience. For your information just in case it is the same guy, he went on to use dozens of Ebay IDs selling mainly linens and more recently went onto Gum Tree selling prams.
