World Of Linens

Did anyone else order from https://www.worldoflinens.com in their recent sale.Two weeks later and i am still awaiting my order,they were smart enough in debiting my card straight away.When i phoned them last week i was promised my order Mon or Tues of this week,still waiting and now they are no longer answering the phone or emails.Dont know what to do now HELP.

    Hate to say it but I think there is a problem. The website says that it is closing down.

    Just checked on them and they are actually in voluntary arrangement and their annual return is overdue. Did you pay by credit card?

    Paid by debit card.When i spoke to them last week i was told they would be trading under https://www.direct4home.com instead of world of linens.What should i do?

    They haven't gone totally bust yet but I suspect are likely to do so.

    Yes visa debit,should i contact my bank or wait and see what happens about my order baring in mind i have already waited 2 weeks,do you think the new website is cosha or not.

    I think it is ok but Companies House does show them as in an insolvency situation. How much is at risk?

    I too ordered, on 18th Nov, and havent received my order. I have emailed them a couple of times and to their credit they have replied apologising and saying they have been inundated with orders and last i heard my order was being dispatched this week. Time will tell. Someone else posted on another thread that they had got stuff off them a couple of times and all was fine.
    Fingers crossed but two weeks longer than usual 2 days doesnt bode well, thats a BIG backlog!

    These jokers dont know what they are doing.I spoke to someone yesterday only to be told the item i have waited on for over 2wks and promised faithfully i was getting was out of stock.When i asked how this could have happened and no one bothered to inform me she said she had no idea,as you can imagine i am fuming as they have had my money for over 2wks.The joker i spoke to tried to blame it on the warehouse staff and when i asked where the warehouse was she said it was 10steps from the shop floor.She said she was now refunding my money,this morning i gets an email from them asking for the item number so that they can track it.Incompetant jokers.AVOID.

    My orders places on 20th Nov haven't turned up yet, I just mailed them and got an automated response saying they have gone into administration.

    Looks like my 85 has gone as I paid by debit card.

    What are others experiences?
