I am owed £6.19 for an item. Received a postal order for £2.19 and £3.64 worth of bloomin stamps!!!! total value: £5.83 ........£6.11 if I count the one on the envelope!! >:( >:(
What can I do with this?
I state 3 times I only accept GBP £ Sterling in my auctions....stamps are not money. They might as well have given me milk tokens.... :-/

Keep the item and send the stuff back. Log non paying bidder if they don't sort it out.

put a note in a shoebox saying "i only accept payments methods specified on the auction" then wrap the box and stick every stamp on it before sending it back.0

£6.19 is a very strange amount. Are you sure the item didn't go for £2.19 plus £4 in P&P and they are making a point about excessive postage? Just a suggestion.
Of course, they also can't count, but that's a different matter.0 -

It shouldn't matter whatever, they agree to pay the price. I state I only accept GBP £ Sterling, this isn't sterling nor can be exchanged for such, I had one of these before and asked at the local PO!
The item is heavy and the postage is underquoted (As I do so bloomin often!) the item would have cost £19.99 brand new :P Postage will be £4.43 approx. 20p including a box and paper, I don't think this is unreasonable!
A Little note would have been nice, I am not a mind reader and would have happily discussed anything. Even if the buyer couldn't afford the full price I would have worked around something!

Pretty sure an episode of The Office had the old stamp being money conversation and i think it is legal tender.
Even if you only state £ sterling what were your accepted payment methods? Pretty sure i've never seen stamps and an option though0
