can i send a free fax via broadband?

i tried the xp method...
says i need a fax printer connected?? whats that?
I have broadband connection.

So you have installed Fax Services...

Have you got a dial-up modem connected to your computer and telephone line because XP needs this. You can't send over Broadband connection unless you use one of the services mentioned above.
