    Can I join please? Hoping to clear my debt of £3405.90 by 31.12.09 this will be tight as I'm currently paying £225 a month so will have to cut back on grocerys. I have joined Januarys NSD and I am aiming for 14.

    Hi Utopiah and great to see you, please don't push yourself too hard though! You don't want to crash and burn on this, I will not be able to shift all my debt in 2009 but I hope to make overpayments every month to get it down as much as possible and then REALLY kill it dead in 2010.

    thanks dreagon I will try not crash and burn but would really like to shift this debt. hopefully with everyones support I will do it but if not i will be a step nearer to being debt free.

    My debt is currently at about £3,500 (gone up a little bit i know!!) but I have just transferred it to a 0% card so hopefully will have cleared this by Dec 09. My old card was crippling me with interest charges!!

    Hi all new challengers! I go out to walk the dogs (drag - cheek Dragon! :rotfl::rotfl:) and come back to find lots more joining up - that is great!

    The thread is very simple - feel free to chat, share ideas about how you are raising extra cash etc. and please post all your payments off the debt so I can update our group total (on the first post). That way the group total has got a chance of getting close to the total debt .... which is looking very scary right now!! But if we keep focused we can do this.

    Onward and upward. :D
