You could always get it sent to the mainland and get a friend/relative to bring it across when they visit. Or pick it up when you come across...

It's a shame Play.comn put the price up, some people were ordering like 5 handsets and selling them on eBay unlocked..courtest of Browntoa and other people giving people PMs full of unlock codes for virgin 1100s.

It's possible Play picked up on this and are trying to put a stop to it. It seems a bit unfair buying cheap phones, getting unlocked for free and bagging the profit.
I did get a second one, but it is put away and kept as a spare phone. :idea:
