You carry on with the full NPB and get a strike on their account and that also reclaims your FVFs and gives you a basic relist credit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for all your help Soolin!!! Just learning at this ebay thing!!0

i always pay straight away except for my most recent purchase - i delayed it a couple of days as I was hoping to receive some paypal cash from some surveys I did. So, OP, maybe they're stingy like me and are paying for the items out of free survey cash!

I've noticed an increase in buyers taking 2-3 days to pay at the moment. Not sure whether they are waiting for their own sales to finish or just Christmas shopping and dont need the item straight away.0

You have to allow 7 days for payment (I'm afraid I am one of those people that will not buy from sellers that say "must be made within 3 days or the hounds of hell will decend up on you" as they just sound like troublesome sellers - I always pay immediatly anyway).
I send an invoice immediatly on sale end.
Polite email reminder after 5 days.
At end of 6th day, strong reminder with threat of unpaid strike if payment not received by end of the 7th day.
Touch wood, I have never had a non payer.0 -
ASsoon as auction ends I send an invoice,I have then sent follow up invioces, saying I am keen to send out the items, the !!!!!!s still havent paid up.Ive never known anything like this, and 2 at the same time.Bonkers,I will have to start getting a bit more heavy handed with the next emails!Do all the time wasters come out especially for xmas!!!0

This is my first time of selling at xmas and it’s a good and bad one my sales have been really bad but they have rocketed in the last 3weeks
But the number of people no paying is a joke I have 19 items awaiting payment plus 4 I have put in NPB
I usually go easy with NPB because I have so little of them but this number is just a joke and when the 7th day comes I will be opening a dispute unless they get in contact with me
I must also add that all my items are on buy it now’s so I think this make it even worse.0 -
One of the buyers has been in touch, complete nutcase, quite frankly blaming me saying my paypal a/c wont accept payment as she underpaid for the item???she says its my fault I didnt claim?? for the money, what, even though it was through paypal.
NOT surprisingly 3 other people who bought my items managed to pay me,so its a load of old crap!! The buyers attacking comments have come out of nowhere, I had been so polite, she says she only goes on the computer at the weekends and Im LUCKY she has responded, what a pratt, what planet do people live on ??? I am not a charity so I told her politely to leave it as I was having probs with my paypal (im not, just dont want to deal with this nutter), i will sell the item to someone else, does anyone know if I can block this nutter from trying to buy anything from me again???0 -
I have come to terms that eBay is full of loads of strange people but some really nice people also. I have had a crazy day today.
Six people bought a BIN not paid
One person emailed me the other day saying they have not got an item 10day got back to me today when I was about to post it saying it turned up :j
Four payments turned into E-cheques :mad:0 -
My last outstanding payment was received yesterday, that means i have not had an NCB now for over 4 months. The one that paid yesterday, plus the one that paid on Monday both mentioned having trouble paying me via paypal..and apologised for the delay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
