I am still doing sealed pot but have never got any spare change as I'm trying to stick to plastic for the sake of the record keeping and cashback. Hope everyone is having fun saving the pennies and hope any debts are being reduced with the extra cash. :) I just don't have enough to spare to leave it in a sealed pot at the moment but maybe after DD's wedding and DS's 21st it could be a bit easier. Sorry I don't keep up with the thread but I do still save, that's the main thing. :)

hi junior j. i just want to echo stunty's words about muscle weighing more than fat. the up side is that muscle burns more calories. a food diary is un excellent way to help you....just think how important spending diaries are for DFW's

hope everyone else is doing well with their sealed pots.

Only 25p in the pot today (every little helps). I've got a load of £1 coins, but I'm off to a car boot sale on Saturday (weather pending), so leaving them on standby for now

Thanks Sue-uu, It's all down to the help and support from the people on this site. Once the debt's cleared, I'm gonna throw everything at the mortgage. I dread to think how much I've paid in interest over the years - scary!

Jess, hard as it maybe while going to weigh ins with SW I always found the best way to judge my size is how well my clothes fit, at the moment I'm going alot of running and swimming and was horrified when I jumped on the scales the other day as I've gained 6lb, but I've gone down the best part of a clothes size at the same time. My baggy shapeless uniform tee's hide it but when I was on holiday the other week I could see the difference in myself in the photos.
So stick with it chick, at some point as long as you dont start body building you'll start to lose the lb's again and once that starts it'll drop off again at a decent rate as long as you keep up the exersize. Regardless with everything else thats been going on for you lately the last thing you need it so worry about weight too much, do the diary and keep up the fizz stuff but try not to worry if you dont 'lose' weight, you'll be losing dimensions instead!

Back to my bottle, chucked a few small silver ones in this afternoon, change from ms'ing, and will hopefully have a few more shineys to drop in tomorrow after work as I've a couple of ms to do on my way to collect from one of our suppliers.

Been having a sort out this week and have found a lot of change around so the pot got it before I could put it in my purse. It swallowed £5 amazing what you can find when tidying. Happy saving all
