Sealed Pot Challenge 2 "The Return"

I guess I had a lucky morning today, found a £10 note outside work while I was the only person around (I'd opened up the carpark to get in before I reached our unit) and since theres no foot access believe it was always destined for my pot. I've a pile of £1 coins in my purse so am putting 10 of those in the pot as my purse has got rather heavy lately - my sister paid me back some money I lent her in £1 coins. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Just put another 45p into pot, am getting so excited about counting it all up when it's full up and I can't get any more coins in (sad eh!).Sealed Pot Challenge #0160

A really warm welcome to the thread moneytree1 (welcome to MSE too), gabriella90 and toriaterrier it's lovely to meet you all.
Enjoy yourselves here and have great fun saving. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. If you haven't already done so then read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll help you with any queries.

What can I say sparky, deny it and it would be wrong, admit it?...well.....I'm thinking about that one. Thanks a lot for looking after everything sparky, you too stunty, :Tit's good to know it's all in good hands when I'm not here. That's the great thing with everyone on here, folk are always ready to welcome new friends on and just generally be lovely to each other. Ahhh, I'm gushing!:o
Hi Stunty, I wondered what was up with you on reading your earlier post, but I can easily see why you'd feel so hacked off (chose the ladies description didn't fancy a p!) with such treatment given to your dear girl, some folk find it so easy to be really pig-ignorant and happy to leave us all guessing as to why! Why can't people say what their beef is so we can either put it right or correct them. She's no real friend that's for sure and will get her comeuppance someday, I hope!
Hi there Our Elsie! :wave:There's LC 2 fretting about us, bless her, and we both arrives back on the same day! Sorry to hear of your woes Elsie, you're right though...it's affecting so many, BUT when we have extra mouths of pot-bellied pigs to feed...that's when the troubles sore! LC 2 is right, you don't always need to be putting money in the pot to chat, just come on with a one-liner or a little moan if it helps...anything. Meanwhile, the credit crunch won't last forever so take heart and be kind to yourselves!
Congratulations on your £10 find scuba!!! :T
Not sad at alltoo-much-debt, only natural when we so want to save. It's great to look ahead to!
Have a great weekend all, enjoy it with your brolly at the ready!

I'm disappointed in the last bit toriaterrier, you should be shouting it from the roof-tops. sparky and stunty do, that's where all our new members come from!;) :rotfl:luckycharlie wrote::hello:Hi Sue

I's listening LC 2 and thanks so much for caring! You're such a sweet soul. Hope it doesn't sound too much as though I'm begging for DH & I to be invited for jam pudding and custard tomorrow?Nah, course it doesn't!
Hi Greenbynature :wave:it's great to see you back, though sorry to hear about your bad couple of months, let's hope things soon pick up for you. Don't worry too much about having to break into your tin, it's such a blessing you had it to help you out.! You've still got a fair time to save so keep looking ahead and putting in when you can. I hope your little pal is recovered.
Have a great Sunday all...in spite of the weather. Stunty, if you're going for a run...can you do so with a brolly in one hand??Ah, well maybe not.
